2. Find and read the article Logic, Rhetoric, and Legal Writing by Frederic G. Gale in the Journal of Business and Technical Communication, Vol. 10, Iss. 2; pg 203. You will have the best luck finding this article using ProQuest through the Online Library, which you access through the link in the classroom.
3. Find and read the article Rhetoric in Legal Writing – Part I, 8 S. Carolina Lawyer 13 (May/June 1997), written by Professor Thomas R. Haggard of the University of South Carolina in Columbia. You should find this very short article using LexisNexis through the Online Library.
4. Complete Assignment 9 found on page 411 of text. In completing the assignment, focus on building very convincing, stand-alone arguments, using the case law and the facts given to you in the text – you don’t need to do outside research. When I grade this assignment, I will be looking at the effectiveness of your arguments.
