I do believe that it is the leader’s responsibility to help people find the meaning in their work. Some people just do get it at first. However, you cannot babysit someone at work and keep trying to show them the meaning everyday day in and day out. At my place of employment they have incentives every two weeks due to good attendance and work performance. Every two weeks we get a one percent raise as long as we meet the guidelines, it of course has a cap so we cannot go over a certain amount. I believe there are many ways to motivate an employee to do the job at their best performance. One like I stated it raise incentitves, another is just recognition within the company. I know different companies do it differently but there is always way to show appreciation to help them stay motivated.
Agree to this post but also point out that leader is not only motivation here. (include what could be ) 3-4 sentences.
