I’ve decided to write about Dunkin Donuts vs. Starbucks.  I chose these two companies because I do spend my money there.  I have to admit, that I didn’t know how big of a competitor Dunkin Donuts was until I got stationed back in the U.S.  I personally find Dunkin Donuts more appealing because the prices are more affordable.

Something that I’ve found interesting about their finances is that although their long-term debt is relatively close — Dunkin Donuts $2.5 billion and Starbucks $2.4 billions — there is a huge gap in how much of that is from their total assets — Dunkin Donuts 74% and Starbucks 18%.
