Locate one article on your chosen issue involving a city in the United States that has been embroiled in controversy over a policy or practice or a specific incident pertaining to that issue. If more than one issue applies to the policy or practice or incident, based on your issue and article selection, that is acceptable.
In your main post:
Describe the circumstances of the policy or practice or incident that brought the issue forward.
Explain any perceived fault of the police agency and the basis for the fault (for example, constitutional violations, safety issues, et cetera).
Determine what you would do if you were chief of police to correct any wrong doings if you think they exist.
Detail, as the chief of police, how you would relay that the agency did nothing wrong to the media and the public to rebuild the image of the department.
